Johnnygreenseed’s Wine is a specialty wholesaler of certified organic and organically grown wines. We were founded in May, 2000 in San Francisco, California and have been fortunate to have worked with the families who grow and make these fine wines and are the true pioneer’s of the sustainability movement.

Johnnygreenseed’s moved to Birmingham, Alabama in 2001 and introduced Alabama to the best of the best beginning in 2003.  We have acted as a traditional distributor over the past 5 years and have now reached the point where we can finally began the process of creating the first states TOP 100 list. It has been a long hard road as a small company with really big plans carving out a niche that hasn't existed before. We expect things to pick up as we create the first states TOP 100 and began developing a nationwide network of 100% employee owned distributors taking the negociant concept to the next level.

Operating as a franchise allows us to maintain the structure and consistency of a unique business model and the financial power and efficiencies of a large corporation. The majority of our contact with you is through our wine tasting events and we feel only an owner operator would have the passion a concept like this must have. Our goal with our wine tasting events is to showcase our present portfolio and to began the process of rating a variety of wines that will become our TOP 100 for your state.

We are a very unique concept that allows you to be in charge of the entire process of the wines available in your state. It is a unique partnership where our job is to find you the best deals possible and let you choose every part of the wine from the label to the grapes used and the process to make the wines.
