Napa Wine Company, 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville, Napa Valley
Keeping
to this philosophy, the 2002 Cabernet Sauvignon received French oak barrel aging to provide the wine with a rich, supple mouth
feel and a hint of toastiness. This full bodied wine delivers a firm core of plum and blackberry followed by very ripe black
cherry and red currant fruit. Bold and luscious with hints of dark chocolate, caramel and spice, this wine exemplifies the
blockbuster year all the critics are raving about.....
The backbone of the Cabernet Sauvignon is the fruit we harvested
from our Rock Cairn vineyard, 32 acres uniquely nestled in the western hills of Oakville. Rock Cairn was a name given the
hill surrounding the vineyard by the Native Americans who traveled the Valley long before a grapevine was ever planted. During
their trading treks, the Native Americans would travel over the hill and deposit a small rock on a cairn, saying a prayer
for safe travel.
This wine goes wonderfully with rosemary and garlic crusted leg of lamb accompanied by a rich port
sauce.

Napa Wine Company, 2004 Zinfandel, Oakville, Napa Valley
The 2004 vintage is Napa Wine Company's fifth release of Zinfandel. The grapes were harvested from the Pelissa
Vineyard, organically grown in the heart of the Napa Valley's Oakville appellation. This wine exhibits all the great qualities
that Zinfandel lovers expect; delicate aromas of blackberry and raspberry, vanilla and sweet spices, freshly cracked black
pepper, nutmeg, allspice and cinnamon with a burnt sugar finish. This wine is a beautiful compliment to a pepper crusted leg
of lamb or smoked St. Louis style pork ribs, which captures the ripe raspberry and spice flavors of our Zinfandel.
Napa Wine Company, 2005 Sauvignon Blanc, Yountville, Napa Valley
Wine & Spirits (October Issue) - 92 Points. The Napa Wine Company 2005 Sauvignon Blanc is organically
grown in the Yountville appellation sourced from old vines located in our Anchorage Block Vineyard. This wine shows the true
varietal character of Sauvignon Blanc exhibiting the fruit flavors of grapefruit, honeydew melon, citrus and fig on the nose.
85% skin contact contributes to the nose of grapefruit and ripe honeydew melon, a creamy mid palate and crisp acidity and
lemon citrus finish, amplifying the Sauvignon Blanc aromas. 15% "whole cluster" processed and 30% barrel fermentation gives
a nice rich texture and a hint of oaky spice. 70% tank fermented creates a crisp, clean and vibrant lemon citrus finish. It
is the perfect accompaniment to Kumamoto Oysters on the Half Shell. Varietal Content 100% Sauvignon Blanc Vineyard Sourcing
